Richard Rudis created the first original Gong Bath™ experience twenty-three years ago and has performed over 1,000 Gong Baths in the U.S. and abroad, healing over 35,000 participants. Using Vajrayana Buddhist principles, specific sacred geometry, mathematics and instrumentation, a dynamic meditative experience is created where each participant is guided acoustically, through harmonics, into realms of physical well-being, emotional balance, cellular healing and spiritual awareness. Carefully designed vibrational constructs are used to draw the brain into Alpha/Theta/Delta wave landscapes of creativity, relaxation and enrichment. A pioneer of gong healing, with thirty years of Buddhist studies, his extensive collaboration with other sound healing researchers and his studies of Eastern energy healing have resulted in the development of a unique sacred sound healing technique known as "Gong Bath™", which he has trademarked in the USA since 2008.

Richard Rudis, (Karma Sonam Dorje), has been studying Eastern philosophy for over thirty years. As an American practitioner of the Vajrayana school of Tibetan Buddhism, he is a long-time pilgrim to sacred sites and teachings throughout Asia. His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa granted him refuge with the Buddha during his visit to Tibet in 1996. He has been teaching Buddhist Dharma, conducting sound therapy gong workshops and retreats, and using traditional Himalayan instruments since 1988. He is a published writer, musician and lecturer on the subject of vibrational sound healing as reflected in Tibetan Buddhism.
